Women's Cross Country Team Completes Season With 11th Place Finish At NCAA Central Region Meet

The Gustavus women's cross country team wrapped up its 2008 season with an 11th place finish (out of 26 teams) at the NCAA Central Region Meet hosted by Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa on Saturday. The Gusties were led by sophomore Brooke Beskau who earned All-Region honors with an 18th place finish.

Women's Cross Country Team Finishes Sixth At MIAC Championships, Brooke Beskau Finishes Ninth Individually
The Gustavus women's cross country team finished sixth out of 12 teams at the MIAC Championships on Saturday. The Gusties posted a team score of 185 and finished behind champion St. Thomas (66), Bethel (68), Carleton (71), St. Olaf (104), Hamline (136),and St. Ben's (169). Brooke Beskau earned All-Conference honors by finishing ninth individually in a time of 22.39.47. -
Women's Cross Country Set To Run In MIAC Championships This Weekend
The Gustavus women's cross country team will begin its championship season this weekend with the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Championships which will take place on Saturday at the Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn. The Gusties will be looking to improve on their sixth place finish from a year ago. The women's race begins at 3 pm. -
Women's Cross Country Team Finishes 14th out of 25 At Tori Neubauer Invitational
The Gustavus women's cross country team finished 14th out of 25 teams at the Tori Neubauer Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse on Saturday afternoon. South Dakota State University won the meet with a team total of 81, while the Gusties finished with a team total of 422. Gustavus was led by Brooke Beskau who finished 30th individually with a time of 22:46. -
Brooke Beskau Finishes 19th, Helps Women's Cross Country Team Place Seventh At Dan Huston Invite
The Gustavus women's cross country team finished seventh out of 13 teams at the Dan Huston Invitational hosted by Wartburg College on Saturday morning in Waverly, Iowa. Brooke Beskau led the Gustie women on the day as she finished 19th (out of 169) on the 6,000 meter course with a time of 23:25.
