Men's Cross Country Team Finishes 14th At NCAA Central Region Meet

The Gustavus men's cross country team wrapped up its 2008 season with a 14th place finish (out of 26 teams) at the NCAA Central Region meet hosted by Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa on Saturday. The Gusties were led by senior Dan Foley, who earned All-Region honors with a 14th place finish (out of 177 runners).

Men's Cross Country Finishes Sixth At MIAC Championships, Dan Foley Places Fifth Individually
Senior Dan Foley turned in one of the strongest performances of his collegiate career and finished fifth individually and helped Gustavus post a sixth place finish at the MIAC Championships which took place at Como Park Golf Course on Saturday afternoon. Foley, who earned All-Conference honors by finishing in the top 15, registered a time of 25:34.65. -
Men's Cross Country Set To Run In MIAC Championships This Weekend
The Gustavus men's cross country team will begin its championship season this weekend with the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Championships which will take place on Saturday at the Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn. The Gusties will be looking to improve on their fifth place finish from a year ago. The men's race begins at 2 pm. -
Dan Foley Leads Men's Cross Country Team To Seventh Place Finish at Wartburg
The Gustavus men's cross country team recorded a seventh place finish out of 13 teams at the Dan Huston Invitational hosted by Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. The Gusties were led by senior Dan Foley who placed 17th individually with a time of 26:26 on the 8,000 meter course. -
Men's Cross Country Team Finishes 15th At Roy Griak Invitational
The Gustavus men's cross country team posted a 15th place finish out of 31 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in Minneapolis on Saturday. Dan Foley led the Gustie contingent as he finished 25th individually with a time of 26:30 on the 8,000 meter course.
