The Department of Theatre & Dance at Gustavus presents Peter and the Starcatcher, the Tony Award-winning play based on the bestselling middle-grade novels that have charmed audiences all over the globe. This action-adventure play with music tells the origin story of Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tinkerbell, and the characters that populate Neverland. Performances are May 9-12, and on Sunday, May 12, the performance will include special activities for families.At 1 p.m. there will be an interactive scavenger hunt for children in the theatre lobby area and a special photo booth will be available. The play will begin at 2 p.m., and after the show families can meet the cast! Join us on a wild voyage aboard the Wasp and the Neverland, along with Molly, a courageous Starcatcher apprentice, and the Boy who never wanted to grow up. We’ll make our way from England to the magical Island of Mollusks for an enchanting escapade with memorable songs exploring the transformative power of friendship.

This production is recommended for ages 8 and up.

Gustavus students and staff are entitled to one free ticket for the production. Other tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for senior citizens and students.
