Little Cahaba River
Part of the preserve is to the right of the river. Note the rock formations.

These are succulent plants found growing in wet moss
on rocke in and along a rocky stream bed that had no running water at the time. Shade was near complete. The first is, I presume, Sedum nevii, Nevius's Stonecrop. The other, spatulate-leaved one awaits identification.
